Make a difference and support Royal Papworth Hospital by putting your name forward to become a governor.

Royal Papworth Hospital is the UK’s leading heart and lung hospital treating over 100,000 patients each year from across the UK. Since carrying out the UK’s first successful heart transplant in 1979, Papworth has established an international reputation for excellence in research and innovation, top surgical results and the very best in patient care.

Papworth is a special place because of the extraordinary people that work, teach, treat and are treated every day. Whether you are currently a patient, relative or member of the local community with an interest in healthcare policy, we need your support in standing to become a hospital governor.

Governors play a vital role in making sure that the views of our patients and the wider community are taken into account and help us to shape and develop our services.
