Having started my career in research and development laboratories, I joined Royal Papworth Hospital in 2000 working alongside the surgical and anaesthetic teams to successfully reduce blood product usage. From there I became the administrator of the system used in Critical Care for our patient documentation. Whilst in this role I joined CUH’s Epic team to develop their electronic patient record. In 2015 I became the chief allied health professional information officer, representing my clinical colleagues in the Digital department and am now the configuration developer within our patient record team.
