Tim Glenn has been formally appointed as our deputy chief executive officer (CEO) and executive director of commercial development, strategy and innovation.
It follows an application and interview process, including a stakeholder panel last week.
Tim joined us in April 2020 as chief finance officer. He had a 12-month secondment at East Kent in November 2023 before returning to Royal Papworth in December 2024.

“Tim is extremely talented, and in the past two decades of working in the NHS has developed a deep understanding of the NHS.
“I am delighted to have him working alongside me to improve the lives of the patients we treat and our people who work here, as well as growing our commercial and innovation work.”
Alongside his roles at Royal Papworth, Tim is also the vice chair of the Federation of Specialist Hospitals, a coalition of the UK's best known and regarded hospitals.
Outside of work, Tim is a dad to three children and an avid (if sometimes highly frustrated) Blackburn Rovers football fan.
