Dr Sharad Agarwal did his Cardiology training at the Leeds General Infirmary and Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. He undertook research assessing various optical techniques to non-invasively assess the endothelial function and was awarded a M.D by the Newcastle University.
He subsequently did training fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology in Victoria, Canada and was appointed a consultant at Papworth in 2011.
He is interested in all aspects of Cardiac electrophysiology and performs ablations for cardiac arrhythmias and performs device implantations.
