Cambridge Centre for Lung Infection (CCLI)

The Cambridge Centre for Lung Infection (CCLI) specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult lung infections, and comprises three specialist groups: the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre, the Lung Defence Clinic and the Respiratory Immunology Clinic.
Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)

The ILD unit at Royal Papworth Hospital provides a service to diagnose and manage patients who are suspected to have diseases which cause damage to the lung tissue (called the ‘interstitium’).
Lung cancer

The thoracic oncology service at Royal Papworth Hospital provides an investigation service for patients with suspected lung cancer. Currently our multi-disciplinary team investigates around 1,400 new patients a year.
Pulmonary Vascular Disease Unit

The PVDU provides evidence-based clinical practice, incorporating state-of-the-art procedures and treatments provided through an inpatient service, day case wards and outpatient clinics.
Respiratory Support and Sleep Centre (RSSC)

The Respiratory Support and Sleep Centre (RSSC) at Royal Papworth Hospital is a major centre for the provision of ventilatory support and sleep medicine with a national referral base. Respiratory Physiology

The Respiratory Physiology department carries out a wide range of routine and advanced breathing tests. These tests provide vital data for the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of many respiratory and cardiovascular conditions treated at Royal Papworth Hospital.
