If you wish to view the data that we hold on you on our Library Management System, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will reply to your request within 7 working days.
We will keep your data for the duration of your library membership, which will end when you leave the Trust. We will keep non-identifiable data about library service usage for as long as is necessary to submit statistics to Health Education England and to compile our annual report. The Library service has a legal basis for processing your data, as we cannot provide the service without the processing mentioned.
Yes, you have the right to ask to be forgotten. You can email email@example.com at any time and ask to be deleted from our system. If you do not have any items on loan, we will delete your account within seven working days of receiving your request.
If you request for your account to be deleted and you have items on loan, we will keep your data until the items have been returned. After the items have been returned, we will delete your account within seven working days.
Your data will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Legislation 2018 on the shared NHS library management system, to which this library contributes, and KnowledgeShare. Your information will be accessible to library staff at other NHS and partner organisations within the shared library management consortium to enable loans of other libraries' materials. Your data will not be shared with any other third party.
