Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is holding its Annual Members’ Meeting on Wednesday 18 September 2024.

Foundation trust members of the hospital and the public are welcome to attend.

Dr Jag Ahluwalia, Chair; Eilish Midlane, Chief Executive Officer; Maura Screaton, Chief Nurse Officer; and Sophie Harrison, Interim Chief Finance Officer, will reflect on clinical, operational and financial performance during 2023/24, as well as focusing on the current year and future plans.

Additionally, there will be feature presentations from guest speakers on our new enhanced recovery unit for cardiac surgery patients and work to address health inequalities.

You can also see inside our operating theatres with an immersive virtual reality headset experience and hear from our team responsible for delivering a new electronic patient record.

The results of the Council of Governors election will also be announced.

The event is being held in person at the Victor Phillip Dahdelah Heart and Lung Research Institute, next to Royal Papworth Hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

It is scheduled to run from 13:30 – 15:30 and will include refreshments beforehand from 13:15. There will also be an opportunity to wear a virtual reality headset and go behind the scenes in our operating theatres.
