Over 20 different cutting-edge research projects were presented from a range of disciplines including surgery, medicine, physiotherapy and clinical perfusion during the Surgical Research Symposium held on Friday, 28 February, at Royal Papworth Hospital. More than 40 professionals from all fields involved in surgery or the care of surgical patients attended.
The objective was for all staff associated with the care of surgical patients to discover the remarkable research projects within our surgical department and their impact on our care for surgical patients.
