We are excited to invite you to a special atrium event this Friday, 28 March, from 11:30 to 13:30. The event is dedicated to leading in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in health research, by collaborating with our campus partners, Camsight, National Institute for Health and Care Research to address health inequalities. This event is open to all staff members and members of the public across the biomedical campus, as well as our close working networks who are passionate about driving positive change in these areas.
Join us to:
- Learn about the role of EDI in healthcare and research.
- Explore effective strategies and initiatives that successfully incorporate diverse perspectives.
- Understand how different backgrounds bring unique insights and interpretations, enriching the quality of research.
- You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with experts who have successfully integrated EDI into their research and practice, connect with like-minded colleagues, and share your experiences in fostering inclusivity.
