Professional Profile

Dr Antonio Rubino completed his training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in Italy in March  2012.  Subsequently, he moved to the UK in April 2012 and commenced his post of Anaesthetic Senior Clinical Fellow and ECMO fellow at Papworth Hospital. He was appointed as a Locum Consultant in Papworth Hospital in September 2013 and got a substantive post in February 2014. 

Dr Rubino is currently working as a Consultant Anaesthetist where he specialises in cardiac and thoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation, pulmonary thromboendarterectomy and ECMO. 
He is also the clinical lead for patient safety.
