Dr Meek graduated from the University of Southampton in 2004. Following initial posts in Dorset and London he transferred to the East of England region where he undertook specialist training in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine,     

He was awarded his CCT in August 2014 following which he undertook fellowships in Interventional Pulmonology, Thoracic Oncology and Medical Education in North Wales, Liverpool and at Papworth Hospital.

He was appointed to his consultant post in Thoracic Oncology at Royal Papworth Hospital in 2015 where he combines clinical work with under-graduate and post-graduate medical education.
