Organ Donation and Transplantation Study Day is a study day hosted by Royal Papworth Professional Development welcoming many speakers who cover topics on Paediatric, Adult and Mechanical support withdrawal.
Course Overview
This NHS Blood and Transplant endorsed study day will cover subjects including pushing the boundaries in Paediatric and Adult Donation, organ donation following mechanical support withdraw, definaition of death; ehtical controversies, collaborative approach to donation; role of bio bank, scouting, quality in organ donation; role of the bio-bank and DCD multi organ retrieval
The study day welcomes medical professionals working in intensive care or emergency medicine, SNODS, CLODS, NORS members and Allied Health Professionals involved in organ donation or transplantation
