This session will be presented by Melissa Duckworth (Clinical Project Manager, R&D Royal Papworth Hospital) and will take place via MS Teams on Thursday 23rd September between 11am and 12pm.

From coming up with an idea, writing a study protocol, securing funding, obtaining ethical, regulatory and governance approvals, recruiting the participants, collecting the data and finally analysing and reporting the results - the research process can take a long time.

This session gives an overview of the life cycle of a clinical research project, the stages involved and the time each step can take.

This is a 60 minute online training session for patients and members of the public that are interested in the research process.

The session will start at 11:00, registration will open at 10:45.
