It can help students and others observe and work alongside healthcare professionals, which can then be of a benefit to those who wish to pursue a career in healthcare.

- Radiology (Must be over the age of 17 for Radiography)
- Physiotherapy and occupational therapy

- Pharmacy
- Theatres (must be over the age of 18)
Frequently asked questions
To complete a work experience with us you will need to:
- Be aged 16 years or older (some placements such as Theatres and Radiology you will need to be aged 18)
- Be a UK resident
- Gain an insight into what the NHS is really like
- Put what you have learn in the classroom into practice
- Meet top professionals
- Helps with applications to universities / apprenticeships in the future
- Increases confidence

You will need to submit and have clearance for the following forms which should be submitted to papworth.workexperience@nhs.net. These forms are sent to you once you have an accepted work experience application.
